Scope
This policy applies to creators, affiliates, ambassadors, publishers, agencies, contractors, and other partners who receive compensation, free or discounted products, commissions, access, or another material benefit from Kiln in connection with public content, links, referrals, or promotions.
Material connection disclosure
Every partner must clearly and conspicuously disclose any material connection to Kiln whenever that connection could affect how an audience evaluates the content. The disclosure must appear with the endorsement or promotional message itself, be easy to notice and understand, and comply with applicable advertising law and platform rules.
Do not rely only on a profile biography, hidden disclosure, generic platform label, group of hashtags, or vague terms such as “collab” where the relationship would not otherwise be obvious. When appropriate, use direct language such as “Ad,” “Sponsored,” “Paid partnership with Kiln,” or another clear statement of the relationship.
Truthful statements only
Partners may communicate only claims they reasonably know to be accurate, that appear in the applicable approved campaign brief, and that Kiln is permitted to make. Do not invent, exaggerate, imply, or repeat unsupported claims about product identity, purity, content, testing, certification, availability, scarcity, shipping, regulatory status, efficacy, safety, outcomes, or customer experience.
Personal opinions must be genuine. A partner may not claim to have used, tested, received, or experienced a product when that is untrue, and may not state an opinion that does not reflect the partner's honest view.
Research Products are outside the general creator program
Kiln Research Use Only products are not eligible for promotion through Kiln's general creator or affiliate campaigns. Partners may not use general-audience referral links, discount codes, creator collections, routines, stacks, transformation content, testimonials, or outcome-oriented merchandising to promote Research Products unless Kiln establishes a separate written research-facing program and expressly authorizes the specific content and audience in writing.
A Research Use Only label, analytical report, research account, or separate campaign approval never authorizes human or veterinary use claims. Research Products remain subject to their labeled lawful research purpose and the Kiln Research Use Terms.
Prohibited content
- Human or veterinary dosing, reconstitution, administration, cycling, injection, ingestion, or application guidance for Research Products.
- Personal-use recommendations, “what I take” content, self-experimentation content, routines, stacks, or instructions that facilitate prohibited use.
- Medical, disease, treatment, prevention, weight-loss, bodybuilding, cosmetic, anti-aging, sexual-performance, or other human physiological claims for Research Products.
- Human or animal before-and-after transformations, physiological testimonials, or implied outcome claims tied to Research Products.
- Statements that a product, test, laboratory result, approval, certification, endorsement, inventory state, discount, or scarcity condition exists when it does not.
- Misleading comparisons, fabricated reviews, fake engagement, manipulated testimonials, undisclosed paid placement, or deceptive urgency.
- Coupon leakage, unauthorized discount publishing, impersonation, trademark misuse, or bidding on Kiln-branded search terms where the applicable partner agreement prohibits it.
- Content directed at minors or content reasonably likely to encourage a person under 18 to purchase restricted products.
Approved materials and updates
Partners are responsible for checking that product facts, prices, links, documentation references, availability, and disclosures remain current. Kiln may update approved language or request correction, qualification, removal, or discontinuation of content that is inaccurate, outdated, noncompliant, outside the campaign brief, or creates legal or reputational risk.
A correction or removal request must be handled promptly. Continued availability of old content after Kiln has identified a material problem may be treated as a policy violation.
Monitoring and cooperation
Kiln may review public partner content, referral activity, coupon usage, traffic quality, and related program records for compliance, fraud prevention, attribution, and program administration. Partners agree to reasonably cooperate with requests for links, screenshots, disclosure corrections, campaign records, or other information needed to evaluate compliance.
Commissions and attribution
Eligibility for commissions, credits, discounts, or other compensation is governed by the applicable written campaign or partner terms. Research Product transactions are not commissionable under the general creator program. Unless applicable terms provide otherwise, refunded, cancelled, fraudulent, self-referred, duplicated, prohibited, or chargeback transactions may be excluded or reversed from commission calculations.
Kiln may correct attribution errors and investigate unusual traffic, conversion, coupon, or transaction patterns. Nothing in this policy creates a right to compensation outside the applicable written terms.
Enforcement
Depending on the severity and circumstances of a violation, Kiln may request correction or removal, pause links or codes, suspend campaign access, reverse ineligible attribution, withhold compensation to the extent permitted by the applicable agreement and law, terminate the relationship, or take other reasonable action necessary to protect customers, Kiln, or program integrity.
Serious violations involving deceptive claims, prohibited-use promotion, fabricated evidence, fraud, undisclosed material connections, or repeated noncompliance may result in immediate termination without a prior warning where permitted by the applicable agreement.
Independent responsibility
Partners are responsible for complying with applicable advertising, endorsement, consumer-protection, intellectual-property, privacy, platform, and other laws and rules that apply to their content. Kiln approval of a concept or asset does not excuse a partner from obligations that apply independently to that partner.
Relationship to partner agreements
This policy supplements the signed or accepted partner agreement, campaign brief, and program terms. If they conflict, the more specific written agreement controls for compensation, licensing, exclusivity, term, termination, and other deal-specific matters unless applicable law or the Research Use Terms require a stricter result.
